ITEC Capacity building program for Kenya
Kenya is presently offered 240 civilian slots annually for short-term capacity-building courses under the Indian Technical & Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme, covering a wide range of professional and technical fields. The training program are fully sponsored by Govt of India. Indo-Africa Maitri Scholarship Scheme for Kenyan students
100 scholarships are now extended annually to Kenyan students through Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Govt of India, for Undergraduate, Postgraduate and PhD programmes at premier Indian institutions spread across India[including Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs)]. Under this scholarship scheme monthly living stipend to the selected students apart from return tickets, tuition/admissible fee etc. is also provided. (https://a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in/ )

Study in India Scheme
Apart from scholarship programmes, a growing number of Kenyan students pursue higher education in India as self-financing students and under the Study in India (SII) Programme. India has emerged as one of the preferred destinations for higher learning, offering quality education at affordable costs. The Study in India (SII) initiative provides a single-window digital platform (www.studyinindia.gov.in), enabling international students to explore academic programmes, apply to institutions, and manage visa processes across leading Indian universities and institutes.
